At Home Trivia variant

A special version for at home play

Pictured with their prizes are the only three in the building who got 100% of the answers correct in a game of At Home Trivia

This variant, called At Home Trivia, can be run when players aren’t in the same room. During times of social distancing, a new way to play was developed, with special sets of trivia questions (below).

Unlike Afternoon Trivia, players compete as individuals, and those with the highest scores are winners. Only one leader is needed.

If you need to run the game where players can play from home, here’s one tried-and-true way to do it:

  • Print copies of the trivia question sheets for each player.
  • Print a copy of the Key for the leader.
  • Deliver question sheets to player homes before the designated start time.
  • Players fill in the blanks and have 2 hours to finish.
  • Pick up the answered questions.
  • Leader “grades” the questions, allowing for alternative answers when necessary.
  • Distribute the prizes.
